What do you do at HOT HAVEN?
We offer 2 signature services at HOT HAVEN.
INFRARED SAUNA: This is our signature service and fan favorite. In this session you are going to SWEAT like never before. We use FAR INFRAERED technology allowing for a deep detoxifying sweat all while reclining in a comfy warm bed watching your favorite show!!
LYMPHATIC CLEANSE: Your going to leave feeling good after this one! In this treatment we target your bodies lymphatic system, which is an integral part of the immune system. In this session you will experience a full body lymphatic cleanse massage. This non-invasive treatment applies targeted pressure to the body encouraging the lymphatic system to circulate and cleanse.
Why Should I Sweat?
Sweating is the best quick fix in health and wellness. It improves the quality of your skin. Helps you loose weight. Detoxes and distresses you. Lowers your cortisol and ups your serotonin releasing happy chemicals. Improves your quality of sleep, and it’s actually enjoyable!
How is Infrared different from a tradition saunas?
Sweating with Infrared is much more gentle and effective. Infrared mimics the suns rays and heats the body from the inside out v.s. Traditional sauna heats the air.
What is Infrared?
Infrared is a form of light that is invisible to the human eye. We can’t see it but we can feel is as heat on our skin. Infrared heat therapy is natural, healthy, and a highly effective source for healing.

THE HOT HAVEN EXPERIENCE
How long is each session at HOT HAVEN?
Both Infrared sauna and Lymphatic cleanse are 55 minutes long. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early before your scheduled time. After both sessions we invite you to stay and relax in the ZEN DEN.
How old do you have to be?
You must be over the age of 18 to sweat.
Is there anyone who should not sweat?
- Is you are pregnant or think you may be.
- If you are using certain prescription drugs.
- If you have a pacemaker.
- If you are on blood thinner meds, have hemophilia or predisposed to hemorrhage.
- If you sweated within the last 10 hours.
- If you are dehydrated.
- If you are in the middle of menstruating and your period is heavy.
- If you have just eaten a large meal.
- If you are under 18 and not accompanied by a parent.
Can I sweat with silicone implants?
Sure thing! Silicone melting point is at 200F and beds at HOT HAVEN do not get hotter than 150F.
How often should I sweat?
That is up to you and your health goals. Sweating is safe to do daily. The more often you sweat the faster you will notice results toward your health goals. Many clients at HOT HAVEN visit 1-3 times a week.
How many calories will I burn during my sweat?
In your 55 minute sweat session you can expect to burn somewhere between 600- 800 calories. Following a 36-hour metabolic boost after your session.
How will I feel during my sauna session?
The first 10-15 minutes it’s going to feel like a nice warm bed. 30 minutes in you may start to feel your heart rate start to increase. The last 15 minutes are when you start to glow and feel the heat. At that time a spa attendee will come in and bring a cold refreshing towel to put on your forehead. Anytime during your session if you are too hot you are free to take one or both arms out to cool down. You also have a call button on the side of your bed you can push at anytime and a spa attendant will be happy to assist your needs.
What if I had a lot to drink last night?
Please be aware we will have to reschedule your sauna session if you have been intoxicated 24hours prior to your appointment time. Please refrain from consuming any alcoholic beverages before your appointment time.

How do we clean the saunas?
Infrared alone kills 99% of bacteria creating a very sterile environment. However we don’t mess around when it comes to cleanliness and take the extra step to ensure that each bed is thoroughly cleaned and prepped between every sessions. To clean we use a non-toxic cleaner and line each bed with disposable sheets that are replaced between each session.
Why should I get a lymphatic cleanse?
Well to start out the lymphatic system plays a key role to a healthy immune system and our overall wellbeing. Part of the vascular system, the lymphatic is a network of tissues and organs that assists the body in ridding of toxins, waste and other unwanted intruders. The lymphatic system is primarily comprised of lymphatic vessels, which are connected and are filtered through the lymph nodes. We have 600 to 800 lymph nodes in our body that produce and store cells that fight infection and disease. During your lymphatic cleanse we stimulate the system to work, circulate and drain using a full body suit that is connected to a device similar to the ones that measure blood pressure. This treatment is quite soothing; leaving you feeling cleansed and rejuvenated.

Preparing for your HAVEN
What do I wear?
For both the infrared sauna wrap and lymphatic cleanse please dress in comfortable, casual skin covering clothes. We recommend light cotton sweatpants, long sleeved t-shirt and socks to cover your feet. We do provide clothing as an option, if you choose not to wear your own. For the infrared sauna cabin clothing is optional since you will be in your own private suite.
Please note after your sweat session your clothes will be DRENCHED!! We strongly advise in bringing a change of clothes to change into after!
Should I eat before my session?
Yes, we recommend eating a light healthy meal 40-60mins before your appointment. We strongly advise against sweating on an empty stomach or after a large meal. Lastly make sure you come hydrated, drinking plenty of water before, during and after your session!
Do you provide water and towels?
We provide all towels and water.
What do I do after?
Option is yours and whatever fits best in your day. You can come, sweat and leave. Or you can relax, reflect and meditate in our ZEN DEN. Enjoy some refreshing tea and oranges all while soaking in how good you feel!
Can I shower after?
We recommend waiting at least 2 hours after your sauna session to shower. After your session your body will proceed to sweat as it is cooling yourself off. During the cooling process your metabolism remains active allowing your body to continually burn calories and detox.
HOT HAVEN Appointment & Cancelation Policy
How much is a single session?
Both services are $50 a single session. To save money we offer the option to purchase packages of 5,10,20 or 30 - making a single session as low as $35 per visit. Another great way to save is by checking out our monthly memberships, which can result in as low as $30 a visit and you receive priority booking.
How do I pay?
We accept all major credit cards including-

Please note we are paper free and do not accept cash or personal checks.
What is your cancelation policy?
In order to receive a full refund all sessions must be either rescheduled or canceled 24 hours prior to the appointment time. If you do need to cancel or reschedule please call us at 619.255.0907 or go to our online BOOKING system.
An automatic charge or loss of membership session will be applied to the following appointments.

- Late cancel
- Late arrival
What is your late policy?
If you are running late please call us at 619.255.0907 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note if we are fully booked we are unable to accommodate late arrivals no more than 15 minutes past the appointment time.
Late arrivals are subject to automatic charge or loss of membership session.
How do I book with outside vendor vouchers such as Yelp?
You can schedule through our online booking system or call us at 619.255.0907. Please note we will ask for a credit card in order to reserve your appointment. The card on file will not be charged unless it does not comply with our CANCELATION POLICY. Day of appointment please remember to bring your voucher and we will credit your account accordingly.
What if I want to cancel or adjust my membership option?
All membership adjustments such as canceling or downgrading must be done 15 days before your monthly billing cycle. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note when memberships are cancelled membership benefits no longer apply. However if you have any unused sessions to your account you will have one month from the final active billing date to use all remaining sessions.
